Archer Road — 8.2/10 Rating (based on 20 neighborhood reviews)
Residents are mostly post-grads or working professionals. It's usually quiet. The complex is fully gated and feels safe even at night. It's a pricey place to live, but it's probably the nicest, safest place near campus. There is a bus stop directly in front of the complex. It's across the street from campus. It's walking distance to a gas station. It's walking distance to the football stadium. There is designated scooter/motorcycle/bike parking in the parking garage. It's only a couple of miles from a ton of restaurants and retail stores.

My apartment is on Archer Road. There is not much of a neighborhood. However, it is located near a WAWA, the law school, and UF's hospitals.

Very loud with a mix of all kinds of people. It is not the worst place to live in Gainesville but not the best. I do have concerns about my wife's safety when I am at school. I routinely see (and smell) individuals using illegal drugs in the area.

This area (34th and Archer) has the most traffic, so it is difficult to get to places you need to go.

The neighborhood itself is not the greatest, I have woken up many times to hear people arguing and cars blasting music.
However, the location is pretty good because you are close to a lot of grocery stores and stores in general.

The neighborhood seems relatively safe. There are many other apartment complexes around, and a lot of older/professional students live in the area. There was one instance of crime in the area surrounding the complex but nothing in the actual complex. Compared to many other apartments, Towne Parc is quite safe.

The apartments are close to 75, Butler Plaza, and Shands. The area felt safe, even if the road noise from 34th/35th Streets can be a little loud sometimes.
