Decent for the price

The price is high but not too bad compared to other apartments in the vicinity. Easily walk to and from the strip/football games. The communal washer and dryer situation is not enjoyable. The apartment is large and many of the few appliances break down regularly. The apartment is old and carpeted. Everything is beige/brown/black/green- not the all white modern look at all. Overall the one bedrooms are huge- non-studio and I am staying. I always feel safe there and never any bugs or pests at all. Also a great amount of space for my dog to prance about.

Good enough to get you through school

It's okay for three years. It's an older building so things occasionally need repair.

The windows can’t open

There was an actual hoarder that lived right next door and they eventually kicked him out and had to clean it out, add oxygen to the room, and then repaint. The hall was stained with trash juice because he didn’t start to take out his trash until he was kicked out. The staff is very rude and talks about bad reviews while their residents are walking in. There are better apartments closer and worth the price.

The Social Grand Forest

It's a less than 10 minute walk to the law school and is very cheap at $415/person for a 2 bedroom/1 bath. The interior is fine and the new management is great. Plus the apartments are getting renovated at the moment.

My only complaint is that it can get pretty loud on weekends as it's in Fort Sanders and most residents are undergrads. Still, I've lived there for two years and just signed on for 3L year as well. Can't beat the price and proximity to the law school.

Social Review Fall2019-Spring2020

Management is friendly and responsive , unless issue has to go up higher in the chain of command then it will take months to get things resolved. ie liability issues involving car garage.
