Broomfield —
7.6/10 Rating
(based on 21 neighborhood reviews)
Broomfield is an interesting place. It is for sure a commuter town; if you are looking for multiple food options and nightlife close by you should look elsewhere. If you are a homebody who enjoys taking walks with pretty views of the front range with wide open skies its a good spot. However, even if you enjoy nightlife and food options the location puts you in a good spot to get to a lot of different places within 15ish minutes.

This complex is next to a senior living complex, and the people who live there are incredibly social and kind. Located in a very safe area.

Eagles Landing
Coming from a larger city into Broomfield was a bit of a shock since I thought that it would be more like Denver since it was still so close. But I honestly love the quieter, slower pace just outside the city while being so close to both Denver and Boulder. You get all of the benefits of both cities without some of the major headaches of either.

Heights At Interlocken
Nice area. Not very walkable, but close to a lot including restaurants, breweries, and open space parks. Not too far from Boulder or Denver. Sometimes traffic is bad, but I don’t mind it.

Bridges at Flatiron
Walking distance to Safeway, Walmart, Flatiron Crossing Mall, lots of restaurants as well. Expansive trail network for running/biking picks up just behind the apartment complex. Great views of the mountains from many of the units in the apartment complex.

The neighborhood is mostly apartment complexes. It is located right off of Highway 36. The RTD is close, and there is a Starbucks and liquor store right down the street (walking distance).

Walking distance there isn't much, but this place is a super convenient drive to everywhere - 15 to Boulder, less than 10 to louisville, 20 to downtown denver. I love living right off the highway

Summit at Flatirons Apartments
About halfway between Boulder & Denver, so you get the best of both worlds. Safe area, lots of great mom and pop restaurants around, but also shopping and more chain restaurants nearby. Don't have to go farther than 5 miles for everything I need (groceries, movie theater, target, restaurants, breweries/bars, walking trails & parks).

If you're looking for cheaper options outside of Boulder it's great! It's a mix of classic suburbs with some mixed-use and commercial spots. Not super walkable but it depends on the area.

Arista Uptown Apartments
The neighborhood is mostly townhouses and apartments that are within walking distance of 1st bank center right off of highway 36 (which makes getting to boulder super easy). There are a few bars and restaurants in the area but most things are only a 5 minute drive away in Westminster.

Cortland Broomfield
Next to RTD bus stop, next to King Soopers, Walmart and other great stores (where they don't charge for bags like in Boulder!). No running/bike paths, area still under development.

Harvest Station
It’s nice, quiet residential area near lots of open space parks. Not very close to public transit although the flatiron flyer station is a 5 min drive. Not a ton within walking distance when it comes to things to do or restaurants. Most decadent food (non-fast food or major chains) are 10+ mins driving away.

Safe, quiet neighborhood. Apparently there is a problem with car break-ins/theft, but we haven't had an issue. I also think this is a general CO-wide problem (or at least Boulder/Denver problem).
