Lazybrook and Timbergrove are two adjoined neighborhoods just west of Houston Heights. The neighborhoods were named for their natural features - Timbergrove Manor is overflowing with trees, especially pines, and Lazybrook is near the White Oak Bayou. Upon entering the neighborhood, the large trees make a great first impression, granting the neighborhood a pleasant wooded atmosphere. Lazybrook/Timbergrove is witnessing a resurgence in popularity with younger generations because of its convenient central location. Lazybrook/Timbergrove is a great place to live if residents are looking for a community-driven neighborhood with plenty of activities, and a variety of dining options and places to socialize. Jaycee Park, within the center of town, is a popular spot where residents visit and meet up with friends. The park features recreational grounds, and basketball and tennis courts.
