Cherry

Cherry is a small residential area near the city of Charlotte with plenty of destinations to visit in town. Cherry is famous for being one of the oldest African-American residential areas that still exist to this day in Charlotte. If you are looking for places to eat or drink at Cherry, there are tons of places you can visit either in, or just outside of town. Restaurants in the area include Mama Ricotta’s, Dressler’s, Carpe Diem Restaurant & Caterers, and Fenwick's Restaurant. The bars in the area are also popular among the younger crowd of Cherry. Bars in the area include City Lights Rooftop, Thirsty Beaver Saloon, and Foxcroft Wine Co. Dilworth.

In the heart of Cherry is Cherry Park. Here, many of the residents of Cherry like to visit and socialize with their friends. Another beautiful park nearby is Midtown Park, which many residents also like to visit. If you ever need to go shopping, there is a Trader Joe’s, Best Buy, and Metropolitan all next to each other downtown. Cherry is a great place to live if you are looking for a small neighborhood town while still being relatively close to city-life in order to enjoy its perks or possibly commute.
