Fall Creek is known to have the charm of a traditional college town neighborhood, suited for students and young families alike. Ithaca College and Cornell University are both only a short drive away, perfect for anyone who wants an easy commute to their classes. Right next to the town is the Ithaca Falls Natural Area, a beautiful nature preserve with a 150-foot waterfall. Many residents of Fall Creek like to grab fishing poles and fish there on their days off. For anyone interested, there is also the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art for countless forms of art open to the public eye.

Scattered throughout town are plenty of options to grab a quick bite or drink. The residents of Fall Creek have plenty of recommendations for newcomers. Bars to hit up include The Loft, Loco, Bar Argos, The Range, and Mercato. Restaurants in the area include Northstar House, Lincoln Street Diner, Just A Taste, and Moosewood Restaurant. Fall Creek is a peaceful college town that features plenty of hotspots to hit up. It has proven to be an attractive place to live for not only students of Cornell University and Ithaca College, but also young adults and families.

The neighborhood is nice and quiet. There are a lot of grad students and professors who live here with their families. Ithaca Commons is within walking distance, so shops and restaurants are within easy reach, but the neighborhood has a quiet, suburban feel to it. It is far enough away from Collegetown and the fraternities that there is not really any noise on weekends. But it's still close enough to Cornell that I can walk there in about 20 minutes if I have to. It's right by the Cascadilla Falls Gorge trail, and there are several parks very close by.

Aurora House

Quiet, largely families and grad students. Close enough to bus routes to get places but not so close that it's loud. Rent is also very affordable. Learn how to use the bus system and your life will be more regular.

309 E. Lincoln Street

Fall Creek is a beautiful residential neighborhood right next to Ithaca Commons (aka "downtown") the center of the commercial city. It is fully flat between the commons, downtown and the lake. The houses are old and lovely, on pretty, tree-lined streets. The neighborhood is a mix of long-time residents, young families, and graduate students.
