North Capitol Street

A Good Choice for People Working in the Area
This neighborhood is a mix of residential and commercial buildings. There are a large quantity of stores and restaurants here but people often go elsewhere in search of more variety. Some popular schools are in this neighborhood including Gonzaga Prep and Notre Dame Academy as well as numerous metro bus stops.

While residents here enjoy the area, some say that more people pass through here than actually live here. It also hosts its fair share of federal centers and public corporations, meaning it brings in a lot of professionals and traffic.

Proximity To Chinatown
North Capitol Street — 3/10 Rating (based on 1 neighborhood reviews)
I am not a fan of this area. I do not feel comfortable leaving the apartment after 10 pm because it feels really unsafe. However, there are many shopping sites near here and Chinatown is so close by.
