I have always felt really safe in this neighborhood. I attend a home church group a block away from my apartment and if I want to walk to get some food I am only 15 minutes from the Student Union. I sometimes walk home late at night from Eller and generally feel pretty safe doing so. As a female, I do recommend walking on the lit side of the Honors college if you do walk home from Eller. While I walk on the dark side sometimes, it is safer to stay on the lit side of the building.

Lots of students. People often walk for exercise or walk their dogs. I feel safe walking any time.
