University City South

University City South houses a little bit of everything for a close-to-campus area - with tailgates on game days, nearby nature reserves, and some of the best restaurants and bars Charlotte has to offer. Although it's almost its own city within the city, getting to center city Charlotte is only a quick ride by light rail if classes at UNC Charlotte’s Center City campus are needed. On top of UNC Charlotte’s main campus, this area also hosts 20 corporate offices to provide a nice mix of business and fun.

Some of the notable places nearby include Reedy Creek Nature Center for the outdoorsy, The Wine Vault for the wine lovers, and Ciro’s Italian Restaurant for the foodies.
