Charles Village is right in the heart of Baltimore - every where in the city is at most a 15-20 minute drive and every major bus line runs right through Charles Village. Honestly, you might not need to leave very often - there are tons of bars, music venues, and the Baltimore Museum of Art all right here.

I'm right next to campus, so there are a lot of security patrols, and it feels very safe. Most of the renters in the building are students too, which helps.

The northern end of St. Paul Street, just off the edge of JHU's campus, has become a hub for restaurants and stores.
Prices here tend to be cheaper than most other areas of Baltimore and a lot of the homes are occupied by undergraduates.
It's a great option for cheap enough rent outside of downtown with an easy commute to anywhere in the city.
