Perfect Location, Perfect Charm

Miller's Court is the perfect blend of old Baltimore charm and modern amenities. A five minute or less walk from Papermoon Diner, Parts and Labor, Charmingtons, Gertrudes, the BMA, the Ottobar you couldn't ask for a better place to call home. Station North and Remington make great neighbors - there is always something going on! The apartment itself is also great - high ceilings, large windows, and tons of exposed brick.

Miller's Court

This is a great and convenient place to live. If you're not teaching downtown, I highly recommend living here. Same facilities as the TFA office and we are walking distance from Hopkins.

Convenient, safe, and lots of resources

Miller's court is a great place to live as a first year Teach for America corps member. There are tons of other teachers in the building, plus it has great access to JHU and the TFA office. Pluses include free gated parking, free gym, every room has its own bathroom, and very little traffic in the area. Convenient to pretty much everywhere, Safeway is around the corner. I highly recommend it.

Miller's Court = THE BEST

I love Miller's Court! It's very close to Hopkins, and the campus has a lot of great resources to take advantage of. It's right around the corner from Safeway, so grocery shopping is super easy. The building is a little over a mile from Druid Hill Lake and about 2 miles from Lake Montebello, so there are plenty of great places to run & be outside. The inside of the building is also very nice and has a gym, gated parking, an outdoor courtyard, and a copy machine in the common area. You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck at Miller's Court :)

Miller's Court

Miller's Court is a great building to live in - clean, modern apartment units with separate bedrooms and bathrooms for each roommate, laundry machine and dryer in each unit, free gym and courtyard.

It's really well located - Johns Hopkins, grocery store, several cafes all in walking distance.

The residents are almost all educators, which is hugely advantageous if you are looking for someone to work with or grade with or bounce lesson plan ideas off of, but occasionally frustrating if you want to come home and feel like you are really home and not still at work. My only other small complaint is that it is noisy - you can clearly hear the people in the units above you and often beside you as well, but such is the way in all apartment buildings.

Overall a really good place to live.

Charles Village Reviews

Charles Village is right in the heart of Baltimore - every where in the city is at most a 15-20 minute drive and every major bus line runs right through Charles Village. Honestly, you might not need to leave very often - there are tons of bars, music venues, and the Baltimore Museum of Art all right here.
I'm right next to campus, so there are a lot of security patrols, and it feels very safe. Most of the renters in the building are students too, which helps.
Close to JHU, which means too many undergrads. But lots of older students and families too. Restaurants are decent. Public transit is good. Safety is above average for Baltimore.
