Great Apartment Complex
The complex is great, the floor plans are great, and the bus stop to Fuqua is right outside the complex making it convenient for students. Overall I have been satisfied living here!

My review
Heights is a really good place to live overall, with good surrounding, amenity and ok managements.
The thing I like the most is the community. Even though Durham is not a big city and does not have that many fancy restaurants, around Heights you have Harris Teeter, a big super market, with Chick-Fil-A, Donkins, and Shanghai Chinese food in the same plaza. On the other side of Heights you can go to Chipotle, some Japanese Sushi and Teriyaki places, and Vienam Pho places. All these places are not actually walking distance but you can walk there without putting too much effort. It is also a really good place because a lot of classmates live here so it is easy for us to connect. The overall surrounding I think is perfect.
Heights also have amenities such as the meeting rooms, gyms, bbq places, and the pool. Even though I did not use them that often, by looking at them it is always available even though they are not big.
I personally don't like the management that well because sometimes there will just be no one to pick up the phones and hard to connect to the managements. However, the person who works there are really nice and willing to help.
I say lots of sunlight but lack of sunlight, and this is not a mistake. Because the community is a really beautiful place that you can feel the sunlight and nature by just walking in the community. Yet in the apartments there are not a lot of lights so you might have to buy some extra to make your room bright enough, and thats what I mean lack of sunlight.

The Heights at LaSalle
The apartment and the complex itself is pretty nice, very spacious and pretty new. The neighborhood is great and pretty close to the university, and there is a bus from outside the apartment to the law school which is great. We get free breakfasts 5 days a week, the common room is beautiful and there is a nice pool. However, we did get our apartment in a pretty bad situation (some broken tiles, horrible smell, etc.) that was eventually fixed. In addition, the management is pretty awful (e.g., one of my friends has told me that the manager made some racist comments towards them).

Highly recommend
Heights is a great place to live. Apartments are big, well maintained, kitchen appliances are in good condition, maintenance service is prompt, pool area is really pretty, gym and lounge is good too. Bus stop right outside to go downtown or to Fuqua, but also walking distance from Fuqua. Right next to the gas station convenience store. 15 minute walk to the grocery store. Very safe - can only enter the building with a fob key or code.

Convenient to go to school
The largest advantage is the location which is on the route of LL Bus. The community have plenty of parking space if you own a car. But the price is slightly expensive with only the minimum amenity such as gym, conference room and pool.

Good
Except some unpleasant insects, Heights is a good choice, which is near Lasalle Loop bus station and 11 route. Pretty convenient for living.
