Trinity Commons - good location, expensive for what you get
Trinity's best asset is that it is walking distance from campus and the hospital, so you don't have to worry about driving when tired. It has a large gym and high ceilings. However, certain things about the property are frustrating and don't seem to live up to the price. For example, the garage doors are often broken and do not seem to be fixed quickly.

Trinity Commons
I've loved living at Trinity Commons. The staff here is so friendly and helpful! They respond to maintenance requests almost immediately during business hours. They often host things in the lobby (halloween/holiday treats, hot chocolate, popcorn, etc.), and have started having biweekly group fitness (Zumba) classes. Best amenities in Durham, and the closest residency location to the hospital & medical school. The rent is more expensive than average in Durham, but for the location and amenities (and wonderful staff), it could be worth it for you.

Very good
The complex is very nice with great amenities, but which often don’t work. The high rent is worth the proximity to campus but questionable considering the constantly broken amenities.

Great location, very convenient to walk to class/hospital, a little pricey but feels secure and has nice common areas. Maintenance head always been nice and come fast.

Great location and amenities at Trinity Commons
Have had a very nice experience living at Trinity Commons so far. Very kind and organized apartment staff. Quick response time for maintenance requests. Overall nice amenities, though I liked my gym at my previous apartment complex better. Parking is in a gated, covered garage.

Not worth the price
The people are so so kind there, but the rent is too high for us to still have a cockroach infestation. And the electrical wiring is always breaking, and the hallway always smells like a litter box, and my car got broken into in the parking garage, and having guests over is hugely inconvenient for many reasons. You could have just as nice a space in a house for $300 less/month, and at least you could have guests over without having to park their car for them and escort them through a maze to find your door.

Great apartment but a little pricey
I have enjoyed living at Trinity Commons the past 1.5 years. It's a roomy apartment, with amenities like pool, hot tub, saunas, gym, club room, grills/outdoor area, and included parking. Unfortunately I don't feel like I have time to use all the amenities so the price feels a little high. But the administration is pretty responsive to problems and they do a lot of fun community events like Workout Wednesdays or Thanksgiving/X-mas themed bingo with prizes. Overall not a bad place!
