Love it
I really enjoy living in Brickell. The apartment building is undergoing renovations so it is a little loud at this time

Move here
This is a great apt, I would definitely recommend moving here. Great amenities, beautiful pool, near shopping area and public transportation. Lots of construction in the area but still very nice. Lots of young people around and lots going on. Great restaurants!

Great Apt!
I definitely recommend this building, it is in a prime location close to mary brickell village, has a nice pool and gym, and there are many young residents. In walking distance to metro rail and close to 2 publix supermarkets. great building overall.

Light and spacious
Axis is an amazing place to live! The unit has a large balcony with doors to the bedroom and living room. The unit has nice stainless steel appliances. The gym, pool, party room, business room, and kids play room are kept clean. The doormen are friendly.

Axis South- very happy here!
I've lived here for 3 years... the building is great, probably the most convenient in Brickell. Just steps away from the metrorail and metromover, walking distance to 2 Publix stores, and dozes of restaurants and bars. Also within walking distance to the new "city centre" mall which should be opening soon! I have no regrets and would highly recommend this building.

Great apartment
This is a great building that is close to the metro. Apartments are modern and new, and pool and gym are great. Apartments do not have a lot of storage -- only one large closet -- so you may have to purchase additional storage closets and cabinets. H

Good building
Nothing incredible, but overall a solid building when looking at a combination of rent levels, location, amenities, etc.

Brickell Reviews
All that said, this is still a developing neighborhood and hasn't yet reached maturity. Many units remain unoccupied, owned by foreign investors or foreigners looking for a pied-à-terre in the US (as in, they don't even rent them out!). Many restaurants are empty most of the time and turn over all the time, and while there are some great high end places, a lot of the more mid range offerings are highly commercialized designed in a boardroom type places with mediocre food and not the owner run small neighborhood joints that would give this neighborhood charm and character. It is definitely a highly walkable neighborhood, but not as walkable as it could be because of the condo "country club in the sky" kind of development with big pool complexes and huge parking garages. There are positives and negatives to that, but on street level it means less real estate for bars, stores, and restaurants. For all these reasons, people seeking a true urban environment will probably prefer Miami Beach or Coconut grove, even though the high-rises are far taller in Brickell. All that said, i think this neighborhood will continue to mature, with more full time residents moving in as people around the country discover what it has to offer.
