Oriel Review
So far, my experience has been good compared to other apartment complexes I’ve lived in. The neighborhood is clean, quiet and near public transit services, with a 15-20 commute to campus by car. I would say that the rent is relatively high for the amount of space I have and the appliances are rather outdated and have presented quite a few problems that maintenance hasn’t fixed yet.

Review
The apartment is nice, and management is usually okay to work with. There is a dishwasher and a washer and dryer in the unit. Cats are allowed, and I think dogs are too. The commute to campus is about 15 minutes by car.

Oriel Apartments
Somewhat affordable, and close to school. Takes me 15 minutes to get home, sometimes 20 with traffic. Don't have to cross the river. Not anything fun within walking distance, but close to grocery stores. Quiet community, lots of families and elderly people. Pets allowed with additional deposit and small additional rent (around $15/month). Pool, hot tub, and small gym. Free non-covered parking and street parking. Rent is about to be raised, my 2 bedroom/2 bathroom is currently $1490 for new residents. Next to Jesuit High School athletic field, which can be obnoxious during football and other sport events for parking and noise. Buses downtown or to Beaverton on Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. Recently remodeled apartments, but still prone to mold.
