Love my apartment!

I love my apartment and its amenities. The apartment is large and clean, never any bugs. The building is well maintained. They recently renovated the lobby so its modern with a fireplace. Free coffee in the morning. We also have a nice, well-stocked store in the lobby called "The Commissary." We also have a dog park. It's great. I just renewed my lease.

Gold Coast View/Prices

5+ years' - Love my view, roof top, neighborhood, ect... Wish I had a more updated apartment. The building has "updated" lobby and roof but was a hassle for residents. Wish after work parties started later ( I work till 5:30 so never got to partake). My building was dog friendly which was nice, LOVE animals. Only downside is building felt more money hungry than taking care of residents who are loyal.

Great Location but with Constant Construction

1360 is a great location for living in Chicago. The roof top of the building is incredible, close to the Lake Shore trail, in-building convenient store, public transit is easily accessible. The negatives of the property are the construction (scheduled to last till spring of 2018), gym is in very poor condition, and dated finishes in unit.

Decent place to live

Great location but construction is bad and loud. It is not the newest place but the building is kept in decent shape. The gym in the building is very old but at least it is something. Door staff is awesome! There's a package receiving service and dry cleaning in the building.

Happy Renter!

The pet-friendly community is great, especially the dog park. Free coffee every morning and monthly happy hour events. Maintenance responsive and air/heat included in utilities. I was paying the same price for a one-bedroom in Wrigleyville, which had more space but NO amenities and no utilities included. So I'm actually saving money with a studio in Goldcoast. Kitchen is separate so it's definitely doable. Also, the neighborhood here is obviously much better for serious professionals vs. sports fanatics.

Affordable in the Gold Coast

1350/60 N Lake Shore is an affordable apartment building in the very quiet neighborhood of the Gold Coast, it has amazing lake views, responsive management and good maintenance. For the past few years though, the building has been under exterior repair which has made it a little uncomfortable to live in the apartments as there is seemingly endless construction noise.

All Good Things!

I've had nothing but good experiences in the two + years I've lived here. Everyone who works here is incredibly friendly and actually takes time to get to know you personally, maintenance requests are quick and pain-free, there are always fun little events going on in the complex, and the neighborhood is mmm, what I would describe as quiet, but not boring? An important note: I wouldn't say that this is the best complex to meet people in however, as I moved here from out of state and I think I've maybe seen people in my hall five-ish times or so? Everyone seems very nice though, and it's a great place!

Great building

Have lived in 1360 for almost four years and despite it being an older-style building without all of the flashy amenities of some of the newer apartment buildings, the apartments are very quiet, building maintenance is excellent and responsive, and the lake shore location cannot be beat!

Great Experience

I've lived in this building now for 3 years and have had a a great experience. The management company is wonderful. I have never had a maintenance request that wasn't completed on the same day. I'm only moving because I'm ready for a 1 bedroom unit.

Pretty Much Perfect

I really love 1350 & 1360 N Lake Shore Drive. The front door staff is very friendly and accommodating, the lobby just got redone so it's like I live in a new place! My apartment is a great size with a lake front view. I love the neighborhood. Just like every apartment complex, there are some ups and downs, but I haven't had too many issues.

Gold Coast Reviews

The Gold Coast experience is a bit like two sides of a coin depending on your exact location. There's the supposedly infamous Viagra Triangle, but really, it's just all a bunch of ostentatiously wealthy people who literally mill around and block the entirety of the sidewalks all evening long. If you're more of an extrovert who has a lot of superfluous cash, that would probably be a fun place to be? I'm more of an introvert, so I'm happy once I pass Division (with its own subset of bars--again, there's a lot going on), and it's all architecturally stunning mansions and much quieter. In general, the most important thing that I can say about this neighborhood is that I have seen more dogs in this area at all hours than in any other city, period, and that's EASILY the best incentive to live in the Gold Coast.
I've lived in the Gold Coast for 12 years. I love the neighborhood, but it lacks new developments (that are under a million dollars per unit). The Gold Coast is as safe as you're going to get in Chicago. There are so many places and other neighborhoods that are in walking distance. Being on the lakefront, I believe the Gold Coast is the best neighborhood in the city.
It's right in the heart of it all. You're also really close to Navy Pier here, and it's a wonderful spot. Millenium park is a nice short walk away, and there's ALWAYS something going on.
Great neighborhood to live in. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping in the area. It's also close to everything, so it's easy to walk or take public transit.
My experience has been wonderful. I feel safe and there is always something to do, whether I want to go to a nearby festival or try out a trending restaurant or bar.
Gold coast is close to Division street and cool Gold Coast restaurants. We're a quick walk to the lake, shopping, and great places to eat.
Very quaint. Amazing homes and really close to RH Three Arts Café. Also a convenient walk to Old Town and Division St. Bars.
The Gold Coast is a great neighborhood and very safe. It's full of old people, but this building is very young.
