The building is well-kept and any issues are always dealt with professionally and quickly. Couldn't ask for a better location. Dupont is lively and has lots of coffee shops and restaurants to take your mind off of school, but it's close enough to school that you can walk (or scooter) within 5-20 min. The only downside is no gym.

Corcoran House has a great staff - 24 hour front desk and maintenance. Most of the residents stay in the building for several years because the rent is reasonable and the staff is great. What really can't be beat, though, is the neighborhood. Dupont is a short walk (or GUTS Bus) to campus, but it's also a short walk (or metro ride) to anywhere in the City. The building is half a block from a bikeshare dock and 2 blocks from the metro. Really the best of all worlds

I have lived in this building for 3+ years and have loved it so much that I keep resigning and won't consider anywhere else! The management company is so helpful with even the most basic inquiries and really go out of their way to be friendly and helpful to my guests. I also like how secure the building is with a sign in sheet for guests and a doorman around the clock. The unit size for a studio like mine is huge by studio standards and the closet space is great! The only thing I wish that they would improve is the kitchens and upgrade to more modern appliances. But overall, this is an amazing place to live!

Love the actual unit and the location. Equity is a sub par company solely focused on the bottom dollar and not on the happiness of their residents. The staff in the building is very friendly and maintenance issues are handled expeditiously. It tries your personal values to work with Equity, no matter how great individual aspects are.

Old building with few amenities, but great/unbeatable location. Even the updated units are a little rundown (the construction work is just kind of shoddily done), and the common areas (laundry) leave a lot to be desired. The staff is very friendly, but the residents are not very neighborly. But, the location. That's why I can't leave.

I do NOT recommend this building. The management office is disorganized and rude. We can't wait to leave! I have heard others have good experiences at other Equity Buildings.
