Great building, a bit of a commute to DC nightlife

This building is in Cathedral Heights and has great amenities, a brand new grocery store/starbucks less than a block away, and is rather residential. The rent is more affordable than a comparable building closer to the action (i.e. Dupont, Georgetown, etc.), but you will be traveling to other neighborhoods to go out (although there are a few restaurants within walking distance). The commute to campus is a half hour if you take the bus to Wisconsin & R, and then walk. It is only a 10 minute drive if you are able to find a parking spot near campus (these run between $150-$200 generally and are privately owned spots in the surrounding Burleith area). Overall, a nice/safe neighborhood. Probably not the spot for you if you're mostly concerned with proximity to DC nightlife as it is a 15min cab ride or a 0.9mi walk to the AU metro stop to get downtown.
