Not the greatest place to live
Moved in to a dirty apartment that had the previous tenant's belongings and paint ripped from walls. Not a great area of Pittsburgh either.

Bad management
Bad management with unclean, outdated apartments. Noisy street and building. Definitely not luxury apartments like described

Good, some quirks
The building is mainly young professionals and graduate students. The gym is great. Pros: closeness to campus and downtown, rent is reasonable for a luxury apartment, gym has Pelaton. Cons: thin walls (but that is any apartment), noise from 5th Ave traffic, elevator does break down often but is usually fixed within a day.

Great if you can afford it
Modern, well maintained building with all the bells and whistles. The neighborhood is being very slowly gentrified so there are some nice buildings going up but not many businesses. There is a gas station with booze right next door though, pretty clutch.

Flats on Fifth review
Rooms are wonderful. Parking is limited and you will not usually have a spot immediately. There is a parking lot across the street that you can pay for monthly. Doors are locked and you are given a key fob to scan. You must also use the fob to get into the elevator. Overall it is a great apartment which is very close to campus.

Nice Place
It's definitely expensive but I always feel safe and I like how modern it is. Comes with everything you need, washer, dryer, microwave, and dishwasher. Sometimes they throw little parties with free drinks and food (they don't skimp on the catering). The gym is not much but it works in a pinch

Lovely Apartment
Amazing, large apartment in walking distance to campus. Far enough away from downtown that it is not too loud at night, but close enough to still have good views. There is a gym in the building and a parking garage for extra rent each month

Great apartment, not a great location!
I love the apartment itself and is definitely cheaper than most "luxury" apartments in more desirable neighborhoods. The apartment itself is a few years old but seems new. The management has always been responsive and considerate.
