Center of DC

Not many amenities in the building, but overall love the location and accessibility (directly behind the verizon center, two blocks from the gallery place metro, 5-7 blocks from the national mall). The building is generally clean and the apartments are large, but it would be nicer to have some sort of front door man or some method to let guests in besides having a maryland or dc phone number (which are the only types of numbers that work with the touch screen).

Very safe and lots of restaurants and bars. It is great for dinner and happy hour. Very close to the mall and all the monuments. Great for running and outdoor activities. Life night and day.

I enjoy the fact that there are numerous places to eat and happy hour at in the neighborhood. My only complaint is that it doesnt necessarily have a "club" or "lounge spot".

Chinatown is great because there is always something to do and lots of good bars and food nearby (and it's just a short walk to the Safeway). The area feels safe because there are always people around. That said, all the excitement means it can be loud and Verizon Center events can clog up public transportation. Biggest downside is the distance from campus.
