Overall rating 6.0/10, based on 2 renter reviews Write a review
Cozy and convenient but overpriced
Old building, common areas not reliably cleaned, was able to find a unit in newer condition, smoking is not allowed but my neighbor definitely smokes indoors, great location for catching CTA buses into downtown or to connect to green and red lines as well as campus shuttles, mail is always delivered, quiet neighbors overall, apartment is overpriced but Mac basically has a monopoly on units in Hyde Park, short walk away from friends who live in high rises and other apartments in East Hyde Park

Hyde Park Reviews
I personally loved living close to campus, for access both to Harper Center and to the broader UChicago campus. I feel much more integrated with the rest of the university as a result of proximity and availability.
In short, there's enough going on in Hyde Park not to feel isolated, but it's far enough away from the city not to feel suffocated.
