Affordable and Good for Young Professionals
Living in Conshohocken is a great way for young working professionals or individuals who have previously had employment history (not K-JD) to live in a city with like-minded individuals. This apartment is a little older but the amenities are decent, it is extremely affordable if you have a roommate (roughly $1100 a person), and it is right on the river. It is about a 10-15 minute drive (4 miles) to campus depending on traffic. Management is not the best. Safety is not a concern.

Good overall for us
We’ve had no issues with our specific apartment unit and we love the location. Very dog friendly & the amenities are pretty good, though not maintained very well. Management is extremely unresponsive and honestly seem to lack pride in the apartment complex. Maintenance too can be extremely slow, and there have been stories of them entering units without express permission. I say “good overall for us” because we fortunately have not needed to reach out to management or maintenance for anything. But we have friends who have or who are on the verge of moving out because of these issues.

Great Space
Overall it is a great apartment with considerate neighbors. There have been some maintenance issues over my past few years here, but once management fixes them it is good to go.
It is a great location from campus and the city.

Decent place to live outside of the city
I love that the location is near the bike trails and that there are several walking paths to walk my dog by the river. The amenities were recently transformed but we haven't been able to enjoy them yet due to COVID19. The management & maintenance teams aren't great- my building could be a lot cleaner and kept up, and, the management team doesn't feel organized or engaged with our community.

Almost-city living
I grew up in the suburbs, and I love going into the city ...but with the high prices, general unpleasantries, increased commute to work, traffic, and city wage tax - Let's just say I'm not a city girl. Conshy has the appreal of the city - walking distance to restaurants, bars, and the train station, lots of grassy parks and the Schuylkill Trail, and its conveniently located at the crosssection of 76 and 476. The King of Prussia mall is a 10 min drive, and there is a target/giant grocery 10 min away. I have a dog, and it's nice to have local dog parks, vets, and plenty of grass. Plus it's only a $7, 30 min train ride to the city, or $25, 25 min Uber to downtown. There is heavy traffic on 76 w in the morning and 76 e in the evening.
