More bang for your buck than a BU apartment

I really wanted to live in a BU apartment so I could be closer to campus. However, the 1 bedroom apartment I have costs the same as basement studios at BU, but is much more spacious, on the top floor, and very clean. Although the T is unreliable, I'm right next to a grocery store and near a lot of great restaurants. Although Allston is rowdy on the weekends, it usually doesn't affect me since I live on the top floor, away from all the noise.
