Great amenities, terrible management
It's a bit on the expensive side, but it's got killer amenities (roof with grill, common room, gym, free breakfast on Fridays, package lockers) and finding it and signing the lease was relatively easy to do from far away, sight unseen. That being said, with more time and the ability to visit other locations more off the beaten path, we probably would have chosen to go elsewhere for two main reasons. First the management. Second, the switch from cool to heat appears to be centrally controlled, which has left many residents in a lurch.

All amenities included
Centrum is great! The finishings are all new in the apartments, making life comfortable. All the amenities also make life easy- gym, study rooms, rooftop, bike room- and it is in a very central location in downtown evanston. The only downsides are that apartments can be smaller than some of the older buildings and it is a long walk to the business school.

Awesome Residence
Centrum is a newly developed building which has all the amenities one would want in a luxury apartment including gym, parking, rooftop, grills, TV room, study lounge etc. It is in an awesome location near both train lines and by all the Evanston restaurants and bars. It is full of Kellogg students / fun, but a little less dorm like than E2. The walk to campus is ~5-10 minute further

Jr One Bedroom Review
Nice apartment; walkable to campus; easy access to train; apartments are amazing and have great views; amenities are great; biggest issue is unsecure package delivery

Great Apartment
It's a little on the expensive side, but the amenities are great and the management team is super responsive.

Love it
Great having a peloton in the exercise room and a great TV in the 12 floor common area.

Good amenities, good Kellogg community
Not cheap and doesn't have the same charm as some of the smaller buildings -- but lower-key than E2, with tons of Kellogg students. Appliances are nice, gym is nice, rooms are all new so still in good shape. Floors collect a little more dust for some reason, but relatively minor complaint.
Far from the Global Hub, but so far that hasn't been an issue. (There's always people splitting Ubers on the slack channel.) If you want to go into Chicago, it's nice to be right by the train lines.

Great but pricey
Overall a good apartment but overpriced for what is offered. I am sure there are options in broader Evanston that offer better value but between the popular Kellogg apartments (Centrum, E2, Galleria, McManus) Centrum might be the best.

Great apartments - Long walk & Poor Parking Options
The apartments themselves are fantastic. Well-maintained with a great, responsive management team. The gym is convenient with new equipment and is always spotless. However, it is a very long walk to the Hub (but super close to downtown Evanston restaurants/bars and mere steps from train stations). Also, if you have a car the nearest parking options are all $125+/mo and a 3-7 minute walk.

Downtown Evanston Reviews
Cons: Long walk from the Global hub. Closest grocery store is Whole Foods, a bit of a hike to TJ's and Jewel.
