Great Location!
I love the location of my apartment. It is incredibly convenient to grab buses down to school, and it is located next to every major transit line in the city. Each unit is individually owned, so I can't speak to other units, by my landlord is amazing and very accommodating. The building management is also responsive. The gym in the building is small, but it has basic things that one would need. The key FOB system seems secure, but because it is on a busy street, there is the chance that someone could come in behind a resident and enter the building. Overall, it feels safe though. My two least favorite things are lack of storage and hearing the street performers during the day, but those costs are worth it for the great location.

The Loop Reviews
Very close to the lake and navy pier
Great park surrounded by all the buildings.
There’s good supermarket that has everything. A couple restaurants and coffee shops are also there.
That being said, if you're anywhere near State St. or the Mag mile, there's pretty much people around at any given hour. It's fun to live downtown because the streets are bustling with interesting people, sometimes there's live music on street corners and there are a lot of restaurants and shops.
