Great amenities and apartments, horrible parking.

The amenities and apartments themselves are great and well taken care of. Maintenance comes within 24 hours for almost every request, which is really nice. However, parking here SUCKS. Tenants only receive one reserved spot per apartment, regardless of the number of bedrooms which is ridiculous. Additionally, there is very limited guest parking. Annoying!

Getting around Barton Hills

Barton Hills Reviews

5 reviews
-An exit away from downtown
-walking distance to the greenbelt and zilker park (major bonus around ACL, FUN FUN FUN, and Trail of Lights)
-a little bit trapped because of the highway in times of high traffic. You only have one way out and that means Mopac
-you have to drive a bit to get to a gas station that isn't in Collingwood/Bee Caves aka more expensive than normal gas stations
-there are always a lot of people walking dogs so I feel comfortable walking and running at most times
I love the Barton Creek neighborhood. There are plenty of restaurants right next to my apartment and 3 comic book/board game shops within a five minute drive. It's perfect for me!
The Woods apartments are right off Mopac and convenient to hop on the Greenbelt Trail and hike to Zilker Park and Barton Springs (1 mi). Taco Deli is on the corner too!
Great for being close to the Greenbelt and walkable to Zilker, however there is literally NOTHING to walk to in terms of grocery (just a small mart), restaurants (love having Tacodeli close but it closes mid-afternoon), bars, stores, etc. Makes me tempted to move downtown..
Close to a slew of restaurants (waking distance), grocery stores, the Barton Creek Mall and Brodie shopping areas, as well as easy highway access to 71, 35, Mopac, and 360.
