Decent prewar building with doorman and elevator
The building lobby is updated and well maintained. Great doormen and it has an elevator and laundry in the basement!
However some parts of the building have small cockroaches and even though an exterminator comes monthly they never fully go away.

Great neighbourhood
This apartment is about one block from 53rd st station (S,Q,R line) and about two blocks away from 50st (C, E line). Very good location and convenience. There are a lot of grocery shops nearby. The service is good. Washing machines locate on basement. It also has doorman.

Not Spacious but Great Location
I live in a two bedroom apartment. The rooms are very small, however, it is very well structured and organized. The best thing about this place that I can't complain is 'the location'. It is in mid-town Manhattan and the neighborhood is very nice. The area is safe with friendly and very respectful neighbor. The apartment has a 24/7 doorman. The benefit outweighs its downside regarding the size of the room. Anyway, it is rather hard to find a spacious place in such a great location.

Amazing Location and Great Neighborhood
This place is in the middle of everything. A few minutes away from Central Park, Broadway, Hells Kitchen and Timesquare. A very safe neighborhood with people 24/7. However, it is not too crowded or noisy. The combination is just right. Downside - room size is quite small.

Nice Location, Friendly Neighbors
I have been living here for almost two years. The location is perfect. There are lots of train station near by. Neighbors and doorman are very nice. I feel safe living here. This place would be the best if only there was a rooftop space for bbq party!

Good for sharing with roommates. Otherwise, a bit expensive
My room is one master bedroom with one working room but I turned it to be a small bedroom. So, there are two bedrooms for three people which makes the price very reasonable for this area.
Everything is in the building - doorman, elevator, laundry, super. It is also close to public transportations and grocery. Bars and restaurants are just a few steps from the apartment.

Hell's Kitchen Reviews
* Easily accessible from a majority of transit hubs.
* Tremendous investment on the part of private and public entities, so there's a lot of development and renewarl.
* Proximity to Javits Center, Penn Station, and Time Square make it heavily policed and quite safe.
CONS
* NOISE--from the Lincoln Tunnel, the Javits, the River, the tourists, but above all else the construction
* Proximity to Javits Center, Penn Station, and Time Square can suck the character out of the location. Don't move here if you're looking to easily find a neighborhood with it's own personality (your local coffee place is going to be Starbucks and your local Italian place is going to be a hike if you want anything other than Sbarro/Olive Garden).
Transportation, particularly up and down the West Side and to FiDi is incredibly easy, and if you live near 42nd St, almost every area is a snap to get to.
Con: Can be loud and tourist heavy during certain hours.
