At move in the aptmt was filthy, had mold in all vents, rotted window sills in 3 places and a failing/leaking a/c unit. While a month passed waiting for the a/c to be replaced, migrant workers who speak no English continued to miss scheduled dates for repairs. Finally a completely separate set of workers arrived, unannounced and spoke no English and came to fix drywall. Instead they sprayed a sealer and put silicon in drywall holes. When asked about cleaning the apartment, the manager noted it was professionally cleaned. SO, we posted photos online at aptmts dot com to prove the horrible conditions. When I pointed out that we will no longer allow un-schedule and non-english speaking migrant workers in our apartment and insist of a valid company, registered with a state in the US, carry insurance to operate and can communicate with us so we can explain the issues we were met with retalliation and hostility by the manager and told we are banned from using any of the common area amenities as we are considered unsafe and threatening. ?? Did I miss something? You failed to adequately fix and maintain an apartment and failed to keep scheduled dates of repairs, then people arrive unannounced on a day we have important calls at work and the people are not who originally came to view what needed to be fixed. CLEANING: This place charges $350 at move out for make ready cleaning. Unannounced a woman showed up on afternoon to clean the mess the workers replacing vents and mitigating mold had made but she was carrying a baby on one hip, and a spray bottle with a rag in the other hand. How is she supposed to clean our 2 bedroom to make ready standard with a rag and spray bottle? Yep BANNED FROM POOL BBQ PITS WEIGHTROOM BUSINESS OFC, and LEASING OFFICE for my complaint.
