Good spot right next to campus

The positive: Walking distance to campus and very affordable for the location and size. Very responsive management. Anytime I have had an issue, they have come very quickly to fix it. The negative: The apartments are old and don't have great insolation.

Volume 2 Review

You get what you pay for. The complex is functional - with on site laundry and a dog park but everything is very dated. There is no gate/security and I have had my car broken into once.

I haven't seen or heard of any problems. I don't see shady people wandering around. Day or night, it's pretty mellow. There's a convenience store, restaurant, and bar all within very close walking distance.

A lot of restaurants and coffee shops in the area. People frequently go for walks or jogs. Many people in the neighborhood have dogs. Very close to the law school.

Great access to all things on the eastside!

I love this neighborhood! It is super close to campus (it's very easy to bike to UT). Great coffee shops (Cherrywood Coffeehouse, Thunderbird, Halcyon) within walking distance. Two HEBs very close by.

The only con is that the bus lines aren't as convenient (the 10 is the only option and is a bit of a walk ~10 min).

So quiet. Lots of families and post-grad people. Great for walks and runs. I have a driveway as well as street parking. I have lived in Hyde Park and Terrytown, but nothing compares to living in Cherrywood!
