Wonderful building
While bustling Grand Central is only a 5 minute walk away, Tudor City is set apart from the noise and chaos of the city on it's own private street. The building itself is beautiful and well kept by the friendly maintenance staff. The hallways have been newly renovated. Laundry, a gym, a convenience store, post office, dry cleaner's, wine store and deli are all within the building; you couldn't ask for more convenience. If there is ever any trouble, the super is quick to fix it and the building's helpful online portal helps residents keep track of maintenance requests and packages that the doormen have received. I never have felt unsafe in our building because of the 24 hour doormen. Overall, this is a wonderful place to live.

Quiet Oasis in NY
You can't tell you're in NY in this part of town. It's quiet and the buildings surround a little park. This area overlooks the East River and is on a hill between 2nd ave 1st ave. It's a climb to get to. It's so quiet that most businesses are closed on the weekend (the problem with Midtown East) and the crowd tends to be older and slower.
