Apartment great management keeps you wanting more
217 is a great location in a great place. Mgmt lacks in their ability to take care of issues. My apartment flooded due to a neighbor leaving water on twice. The first time, it shattered a light (as the fixture filled with water) and took management over a week to address. I recently had a mouse infestation problem. Over 10-14 days, I killed 5 mice and saw a 6th. Management was slow to plug the holes in my apartment. Landmark Realty / Balance Property is great when they receive your rent check but not so wonderful when you require service.

Chelsea Reviews
Cons: A bit of a walk to get to grocery stores, coffee shops, and pharmacies (~3-5 blocks). Lots of construction! Hudson Yards construction is 24/7; and the construction on 28th street between 10th and 11th avenue also goes into the weekend. The Scores and Eagle Bar noise isn't as bad, but it can get noisy on late weekend nights, with drunk and rowdy patrons smoking outside.
