Great location near Jack London Square in Oakland

Moved here in June 2020. This is a quiet place to live except for the Amtrak train noise (but I've pretty much gotten used to it). Windsor management company is very responsive and we've had no issues with them. It's a great location for going on walks along the water and to restaurants near Jack London Square. It's great for taking the ferry to SF, and only a 10-15 min walk to Lake Merritt Bart to get to Berkeley. Lots of closet space, kitchen is relatively small, but I like the open floorplan.

Getting around Oakland

Oakland Reviews

Love being close to the water and seeing so many people with dogs. Great restaurants nearby. Close to SF ferry, BART and 880. Relatively quiet except for AMTRAK train noise.
Great location for restaurants and cafes, nice area for walking and lots of public transit. Area feels safer than most places in Berkeley/Oakland.
It's definitely a very "hip" neighborhood, with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. I would probably prefer a neighborhood that had more walking access to grocery stores over one with lots of bars and restaurants though. Immediately around the building is very residential and family-oriented though, which is nice.
The neighborhood is very safe and convenient.
great bars and restaurants on Piedmont Ave all walkable. can also take a longer walk to telegraph where there is even more selection
Close to BART and walkable to Jack London Square and Uptown Oakland. Lots of bars and restaurants close by.
Downtown Oakland - close to bars and restaurants (with delivery). Also near by target and grocery stores.
Don't live here. It is loud, dirty, unsafe and unpleasant.
