Close to PATH & Great Amenities, New Building
The building is about a year and a half old - so still pretty new! The units themselves are great - washer/dryer and dishwasher included, along with an AC/heating unit installed below the window.
The gym on the first floor comes included and is pretty big! 5 treadmills, a couple ellipticals and bikes, stairmaster, weight rack, and a few weighted equipment machines. There's also a yoga room with mirrors and a TV monitor that connects to on-demand fitness videos.
The lounge areas are nice - very posh and well designed. I'll sometimes do homework in them. You can also rent the party room, which is nicely decorated but it costs to rent. The roof has some furniture, a TV, and firepit, with views of the city.
The building often hosts events for the community with food and some cheap wine/beer. They also bring in a food truck most Wednesdays, which is nice!
Living alone, I love that there's 24-hour concierge service - who are all great. And the property managers are on the first floor as well, and they've been great to work with.
There's also a pretty sizable playground, and smaller dog run (with fake grass) for pets. Parking garage under the building, which I don't use.
Since the heat is electric, the electric bill in winter is atrocious. I paid $180 one month, when my electric bill is usually around $20-40, even in the summer. It's close to the PATH train, which is super convenient to getting to NYU, and you can see the trains from your window, but you don't hear them at all.
Overall, love my building and would recommend!

Helpful and nice Staff, great commute
The concierge staff is available 24/7. The super and property managers are on site. They're all generally helpful, responsive, and nice to work with.
The amenities are great - pretty sizable gym with great equipment, conference room, lounge areas are great for working from home/studying. There's also a dog park and rooftop patio.
The apartment units themselves are new, spacious, and nicely laid out. A few cracks appeared in my ceiling, but the super came right away and fixed it. There's also a convenient online portal for paying rent, communicating with maintenance, and even a message board for posting to other residents.
Neighborhood feels pretty safe, but it's definitely not on the trendy side. There aren't many hip restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc. But there's some great Indian food nearby and an average C-Town grocery store within a 10-minute walk.
Commute to Manhattan is easy and brief, depending on where you're going. It's a 5-minute walk to the PATH Journal Square stop. Overall, great place to live.
