The Point at Pentagon City reviews and highlights
- older building
- lovely pool and sundeck
- location cannot be beat
Very spacious apartment compared to most
Paying the same rent, if not cheaper, than most apartments in Arlington. Has spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and large living room, kitchen and dining area + a balcony.
Gym + pool is a plus. Building itself looks a bit old but apartments are updated.

Bank for the Buck
Older apartment, but a steal on rent with relation to location and size. Biggest negative is the small parking lot. Utils are split among units of same size, which is also a negative when you're trying to be conservative. Huge ground floor pool (with 9ft. deep-end)

Nice
The Point Apartment is a 50 year-old apartment, but it is very convenient.
The apartment is near Costco , Best Buy,Pentagon city metro station,Macy's department store and library , small park.
If you would like to find a rent apartment cheaper than DC .

Great Value for Location
The point is by far the cheapest luxury apartment in pentagon city. I looked at all the apartments there during my search. The other apartments have similar amenities but with bigger companies and more luxurious lobbies. This is a hidden gem. The apartments are newly redone and finished nicely. Also have washer dryer in unit unlike the other apartments down the street. There's a lovely pool and sundeck. I honestly have no complaints about this building. We're right next to the public library which I love and off the main road of South Joyce so it's a lot less rowdy. Easy walk to costco, metro and the mall

Not in the best condition
Old building with not enough maintenance for the price paid.

Great location just outside of the city
This 19-story building is located just 2 blocks from the Pentagon City Metro and Pentagon City Mall. Crystal City is also just around the corner with many restaurants and bars within walking distance. This building offers a pool and an attached parking garage. There is also a dry cleaner across the street and a rack of bike share bikes right outside. There is currently construction across the street that can get quite noisy but the building itself is quiet. Apts have washer/dryers and there is also a gym and laundromat in the basement.

Pentagon City Reviews
For the metro, the ride itself is about 20 min. I just budget in extra time for walking and not wanting to arrive just on time. It shouldn't take 45 minutes to get to school unless they're doing maintenance. Then, add 10 minutes.
There is not a lot of green space, unless you count Long Bridge "Park", which is a dead-end, cement "bridge" that looks over soccer and baseball fields with some views of D.C.
Pros:
-Very metro-accessible (blue/yellow, so can get into the city in multiple directions if there are delays)
-Walkable - easy to get to grocery store, Pentagon City mall, library, restaurants, etc. within minutes
-Quiet and safe, and generally well-lit in the evenings
Cons:
-I'd like to see a few more restaurant options. There are good casual dining options, like Naked Pizza, California Pizza Kitchen, and the mall food court, but besides Bonefish Grill there's not much a step up from that.
-I don't feel much sense of community, and don't know my neighbors. Not as diverse-seeming as other parts of DC.
