The Scenic at River East

Overall, I've really enjoyed living at the Scenic for all of law school. My rent has increased ($1059 to $1247) over the past two years. The complex requires you to use a third-party package delivery service, Fetch, that is great when it works—when it doesn't, it's a pain (works about 90% of the time in my experience). The complex is fairly quiet and consists mostly of working professionals and some families. The complex is relatively new, and the finishes are much more modern.

This complex is great if you're looking for a quiet place. The surrounding area is slowly up and coming. Management and maintenance are responsive and take care of issues within 1-2 days. My only complaint is regarding the mailroom/packages; some packages have been stolen in the past, but management has started collecting deliveries at the front office, which has helped. Otherwise, I love this apartment and plan to live here all 3 years of school.

Overall good experience. Cannot complain too much about anything in particular. The parking situation is not the best, but the apartment itself and the amenities are great.

I like it, but will probably move next year (after 2 years here) bc there are no elevators, and I worry about security with the outdoor corridors even though it is gated

I love living at the Scenic but its defiantly out of the way compared to other apartments. Still only 10 minutes from campus and beautiful pool. Also the maintenance stuff is super helpful and always on call.

Love my apartment! Its about 5 min from downtown and is right on the river. They have multiple dog parks, awesome pool, gym, etc. Management is really nice and maintenance is always good

I like it and the management is nice. They could keep the area cleaner and trash pick up more consistent though.

This is a new property. The management could enforce pet pick up more. The price is great for what you get. Units are new and finishes are nice.
