Beware
I lived there 5 years and it used to be a great place until managment changed. Now you have to ask several times before things are addressed, management does not respond, and her suggestions for problems are, get a bigger rug for dirty carpet, and we can't treat for GNATS (which were an infestation), and rent a parking spot for 50.00 if you can't find parking even though the gates were left open 24/7 allowing anyone to park there versus the people that live there and pay. She didn't care.

Nice apartment!
its a great apartment. Its in a fun and safe area. I never worry about my safety. However, it is a 30-45 minute drive. If you don't mind the drive, its straight down the Dallas North Tollway. If you leave during non-peak traffic hours, you can get to campus in under 30 minutes - which for how nice the apartments are, being right across the street from the FC Dallas Stadium and HEB, I don't mind.

Good apartment
Lived here going on two years. Really feel safe. Kind of a drive from campus but that's to be expected. Feels safer than living in Dallas.

Nice apartments, but you pay the price
The good:
Management and maintenance are responsive.
Office also has a Concierge on staff.
Located right on Frisco Square, 7 restaurants in walking distance and a Cinemark across the street. The Frisco Public Library is also easily walkable.
Secured resident garage attached to the building. Gate scans your Tolltag for authentication.
Very nice apartments. Stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, fake wood flooring.
Balconies overlook either the courtyard, pool, or pet park. Most get plenty of sunlight for plants.
Gigabit Fiber (FTH) available through AT&T and Grande Communications.
Great pool area.
Apartments include a smartTV and soundbar.
The Bad:
Rarely, packages won't be logged until after the office is closed.
Some of the perimeter security gates can be defeated if your arm is small enough to reach through the grid and push open the crash bar.
The EV chargers in the garage don't work.
Reserved spaces in the garage are $50/mo. (But usually not an issue as there is plenty of space in the garage)
Trash concierge is a required $35/mo fee, and only picks up Sun-Thurs.
Pets are allowed in the complex, but some owners neglect to clean up after them, so the pet park reeks.
The Meh:
Resident events are organized at weird times. 9-11am and 4-6 are common. As a result, most of the attendees are retired folks.
Apartment locks are NFC/RFID, as a result need to be recharged every year or so.
