Pretty nice place to live, not super fancy
I like living here and I like the people who work in the office and in the building in general. People are very nice in the building and for the most part it is really nice. The apartment isn't necessarily as fancy as other apartments in the area, but what they show you on the tour is really what you get. The price reflects what you get, and other higher priced places are nicer, but farther from the law school and more expensive.
Parking is $100 a month in a heated underground garage. People have gotten their bike wheels stolen, and cars broken into, but for the most part it is safer. You can also get a storage room in the building for $30 a month.

Just Conveniently Located
I have not seen or heard of any security related issues, which is great for a student. However, management (not necessarily the on-site one but whoever is in charge of the entire property) is not responsive to the needs of their residents. There is no sense of urgency when things go awry, e.g., the internet goes out for two plus weeks, which is completely unacceptable for an entire building filled with students. Further, the internet seems to have gotten even slower than before ever since it was "fixed." Redirecting complaints to the media company does not do anything besides shift the blame. Now that the price in rent has increased over my years as a student, the current state of the building and what they offer pales in comparison to other properties. Whatever value GrandMarc had by being so conveniently located has definitely been outpaced by the increasing cost in rent and the poor management.

Convenient
The apartment building is very convenient to my classes, which is why I live here. The building is old, and not updated, but I have my own room and bathroom.

GrandMarc - convenient but overpriced
I love my own individual apartment. I also like being so close to the law school, especially since I don't have a car. It's clean and there are no major issues. That being said, GrandMarc is overpriced and it becomes frustrating to pay such a high rent. I am paying for convenience and location. There's nothing awful about GrandMarc, it's just overpriced. For example, the appliances work but they are outdated. The gym is just alright. The staff gives you a different answer depending on who you talk to. It's also student living so you will sometimes have to deal with loud undergraduates. It's not very modern. The WiFi can be slow. Also, electricity used to be included and now it is not, which is frustrating. These things don't bother me much I just think the rent should reflect it. I still love my own apartment and it's an okay place to live if you want to be close to the law school, just be aware that it is overpriced and you will not get what you are paying for.

GrandMarc Seven Corners Review
I don't have a car and was looking for an apartment close to school. I toured the apartment when I came to visit the law school. I applied for housing in early April, which was good––the units in this building go quickly. Classmates I spoke to once I arrived 1L year told me they had tried to live here but applied for an apartment too late.
