Bugs, sometimes no water, and theifs
Just like what the title says there are way too many issues for this place to be overcharging. I literally moved into my new room and found a coach roach. Absolutely disgusting and the air conditioner barely functions. Not worth the price considering the location is on the deep end of the south. Also, my neighbors steal so they install cameras which is more of a reason to move out from this miserable ice box.

Disgusting, repuslive and overly priced
Yea moving didn't change my review. The place is a joke, a hazard to be frank and they let any losers in here. Our football team sucks too.

Experience
Overall it's been great. Noise level is low and everyone is cooperative in the building.

University Lofts
Proximity to campus is great, especially for law students. My one bedroom unit has floor to ceiling windows and a downtown view, although I think the windows are much smaller in the two bedroom units. The building is made of concrete so neighbor noise isn't bad. I've chosen to live here all three years of law school.

Good accommodations, University hard to deal with
I have liked living in my studio. This is my second year at the UH Lofts. I think the place itself is nice, but dealing with questions and issues through the housing department can be unnecessarily difficult. Also, living with young students can be difficult as well.

Great, with only a few hiccups!
I love living on campus and not having to worry about paying rent or utilities every month. Since the Lofts are technically run by UH Housing, you pay for the term and do not have to worry about it for the rest of the semester. The Lofts are an 8 min walk to the school building & the rec center on campus, and provides me with so much convenience getting to and from school without having to worry about driving in Houston traffic. They also have lots of amenities that are included in the price, and have tight security to get into the building, which was a huge factor for me when choosing a place to live. I have had a minor issue with a couple of my appliances, however the Lofts have a 24-hour emergency maintenance staff, so it took less than an hour to get the issues resolved. Overall, I strongly believe that living here at University Lofts was the best choice I made for my living arrangements.

University Lofts-Great Experience
My experience at the University Lofts has been amazing! I will definitely live here all of law school.

Very convenient!
Although the University Lofts are considered off-campus housing, it is practically on campus. This means that I am within walking distance from many study locations on campus, as well as the Pharmacy school itself. This is very convenient when needing a place to study or if I need to study late into the night. In addition, should walking alone at night be a fear, the University of Houston has a great PD that is willing to escort. One downside is the apartment may be small depending on the room your pick, but overall, depending on budget, it does still have its benefits.

Avoid this place
On the outside and at first glance, Lofts looks like a nice apartment. As it should be for what you're paying. This was not my experience.
The two years I've lived there, the ceiling has constantly been leaking into a bucket in the hallway. Reporting it to maintenance just means they empty the bucket and say the problem is fixed.
All of the materials used to build this apartment complex are cheap. The wax finish on the concrete floors peel and get everywhere, the garbage disposal broke a few times I lived there, the lighting in the apartment is awful, they don't replace most of the lights in the hallways when they go out, and the "recycling" goes straight to the trash.
I had an efficiency apartment and there was nothing efficient about it.
