Foundry 2 BR
High marks for proximity to Mendoza and being in the middle of the action. We’re a first floor unit over looking the courtyard area so I can sometimes be loud, but happy on the whole.

Foundry
Apartments are decent but building A gets a ton of street noise and noise from Brothers. It’s way overpriced for what we get and the management does pretty much nothing

Great place to live, expensive, horrible management.
The process of getting a lease at Foundry is awful. Pretty much every review will tell you that.
However, once you get there, it is a great place to live. Maintenance is fast. Best location by far. And overall nice apartment.
They are a little mysterious about furnished apartments and what is included v. what is not included. They don't really answer the question when asked directly because I am not sure the people who work there even know the answer.

Best Location, Nice Apartment
Foundry is the best location of all ND apartments and also the nicest, the South Units are more spacious with nicer appliances, cabinets, and counters, but also more expensive.

Great Location
The North Foundry building is conveniently located across the street from the Notre Dame campus (a 5-10 minute walk), and has direct access to a large parking garage. What's more, Eddy Street is a well developed business hub with plenty of restaurants and grocery stores.
Inside the apartment, the brick walls block out most external sounds. The units have large windows and high ceilings, which I particularly liked. There are also washer/dryer units in each apartment. The appliances were all in great shape and mostly up-to-date, and the ceiling lights light up all rooms except for the bedroom, which did not have any ceiling fixtures.
The building is restricted to outsiders via key access, and the hallways have security cameras. I felt very safe in the building, and especially in my apartment.
Overall, I would say that the Foundry adequately met my needs as a graduate student. The central location really makes the relatively high price worth it.

The Foundry
Although the application process can be onerous, living in The Foundry is super comfortable and convenient. The amenities are something to highlight. My apartment is spacious and full of natural light. Haven't had any problem since I moved in.

Expensive
The apartment itself is very nice. However, the studio is much cheaper but not that much different from a one bedroom. Additionally, it's annoying that all utilities and amenities are separate despite the high price tag.
