DO NOT MOVE HERE

This complex looks beautiful. The grounds are great and the apartments are stylish. That being said, I immediately had pest problems (huge spiders crawling out of my drains, hiding in anything on the ground; slugs, other bugs) due to poor insulation on the doors. The complex had just been renovated. I then had issues with my washer and dryer (which were ancient looking despite them promising all new appliances) including a flood to my kitchen by the washer. My utility closet also flooded due to faulty installation of my air conditioning unit. The apt above me also leaked into my apt. The complex stuck a giant fan in and didn’t come back or return calls for days until we threatened legal action. They then took the fan and said it was fixed, but did no work. The apt was damp and smelly and after 2 weeks of asking/threatening legal action (I had since moved into a hotel because I was getting sick) they brought in an expert who said the moisture levels made the apt untenable. They did several things to fix the apt, but I then had issues with my dishwasher, which was installed incorrectly and didn’t wash the dishes at all, my electrical switches, and the spider infestation. I finally settled with them and moved. The entire time they were rude to myself and my co-signer (my dad), treated me like I was dumb, evaded calls, and even hid in the back behind a locked door when I attempted to ask questions of them in the office. I have lived in much cheaper, non-luxury apts and have never experienced anything like this. DO NOT MOVE HERE
