Fully Updated Apartments in a Cute Area
This apartment complex is great for anyone who wants to live close to school in a quiet, walkable area. It is fully updated, and the utilities include a pool and newly renovated gym. The entire complex (including the parking lots) is gated with fob-only access. Each apartment comes with an open-concept kitchen, in-unit laundry and dryer, a balcony or bay-window, and equally sized bedrooms that have walk in closets. These apartments have lots of window, so a lot of natural lighting. The area that we live in is next to the Malco Powerhouse movie theatre which hosts the Downtown Farmer’s Market every Sunday June-December. We are within a 5 minute walk from a family/dog-friendly outdoor bar called Loflin Yard. We are also within walking distance to multiple restaurants, coffee shops, and Tom Lee Park. The renters within our complex are mainly healthcare professionals, healthcare students, or younger professionals. The management company is very friendly and communicative, so they are always available for questions. A few tips I have for future renters is to call in advance for tours. Also my roommate and I were able to have our rent discounted for signing the lease within the summer months, so I would ask them about this.

Responsive
They keep the property neat and clean throughout the year. They have security that monitors the premises and the community is gated. Located downtown so its walking distance to main street and Tom Lee park. Quiet community that offers many incentives. Maintenance responds quickly as well.

Love Southline!!
I have lived here almost 1 year and am in love with the apartment and the area. It’s downtown but out of the way of heavy foot traffic. the south main area is so nice and a cute neighborhood.

Southline
I really like living here and feel relatively safe. I don't like that the train track is slow close (so loud in the morning and at night) and the garbage comes at 3am every 2 weeks. But, the security people who are here at night are very nice and they actually keep crime away.
The pool policies are too strict about guests and even renters (have to reserve online + no guests due to COVID).
The managers are very responsive to issues (maintenance, noise complaints, etc.).
The weekends get loud on the street outside and there has been some concerning crime on South Front St. over the years. But there are lots of entrances so you can avoid being out of the street once you get to the actual complex.
