DO NOT LIVE HERE

My girlfriend and I have lived here since April of 2024, and when we moved in, it was under old management. In August of 2024, RPM took over management. Since then, we have experienced a SLEW of problems. Problems come and go; it would be foolish to expect perfect living, but resolving these problems is what matters in apartment living. At first, we had issues with noise complaints well into the middle of the night. Both my girlfriend and I work in the medical field and live near the pool. Arriving home close to midnight, there should not be any partying at the pool as it closes at 10 pm. We reported it as we should, even filing noise complaints with the police, but initially, nothing was ever done. We had to deal with irate, drunk tenants yelling at us as we asked them to quiet down from our balcony so we could sleep. The hammocks at the pool also suffered from these troublemakers, as one was found broken along the wooden support, and the other lost its net. This was months ago. As of today, 1/13/25, these hammocks have not been fixed. The noises have subsided, but it has also been cold, so I expect them to return once it warms, as all that was ever done was send out a single, lonely email reminding everyone about noise and pool closure after 10 pm. This was minor; it only gets worse.

The next issue we had was with wasps and hornets. A minor issue that becomes serious because my girlfriend is deathly allergic to them. With our work hours, we made requests over the phone to get rid of them as it was most convenient, but nothing was ever done. More and more wasps arrived until three nests surrounded us, one outside our balcony and two by our door along the stairs. We decided to put in a request online from the webpage, and to this day, the manager swears it is the only request she had ever seen regarding wasps, noting that the phone requests are not recorded (they say that they are for quality assurance). Also, to this day, the nests are still present. They appear inactive due to the cold, but I would rather not rely on the temperature to determine my girlfriend's safety. Especially since last week, while opening our balcony door for our dog to lay down outside as she does, a wasp flew inside, prompting me to spray the entirety of our front door area with wasp foam to ensure it did not sting my girlfriend. Notably, the manager has been aware of this as well as of my girlfriend's deathly allergy. Keep reading, it still gets worse.

Next, our garage was burglarized on October 15th, 2024. We discovered our lock was broken by shoving a screwdriver-like item through the top of the lock, and numerous items were stolen from me, from vintage autographed jerseys to paintball equipment to a mini fridge. It also appeared that the garage next to ours had its lock tampered with, although not as severely as ours, as ours was destroyed along with the frame and the door bearing forceful kick marks. As I recognized the car that parks in front of the other garage to belong to tenants of a unit in the same building as me, I notified them to see if they would also like to make a police report with me if they had been burgled as well. A man responded to the door and said to involving the police and showed me how "empty" his garage was, showing me my stolen items. Flustered at the time, I did not realize they were my items, but I called the police again later that day when I realized, and they confirmed they were mine and allowed me to retrieve them. I reported this to property manager, to which she responded rudely and pompously that a male does not even live in the unit I was claiming to have notified. She also disclosed that the garage they park in front of, where my stolen items were recovered, does not belong to anyone. Explicitly, she became aware of an unauthorized tenant living in her complex who was suspected of burglary and stalking, as we told her.
