Serviceable.

Shoddy appliances in unit, common areas are average quality and are fairly limited. Pool area is nice, gym is solid and usually not busy. No guest parking which is very inconvenient. Other tenants are very respectful.

Good Value, Near Campus

The best part of these apartments is the fact that they are close to campus. The amenities (gym, pool, etc) are not as nice as other nearby complexes, but also those complexes are typically more expensive. This complex is also nice because it is one of few in Downtown that offer three bedroom apartments. The downside is that it is not as aesthetically pleasing as other complexes within a similar price range.

Pretty Good

Location is DTLA, walking distance from Loyola Law School. The apartment itself is good, the gym is nice, and all the staff is nice too. They are helpful and maintenance is super quick and good at their job. The elevators and the parking situation can be a bit annoying. Overall, I have had a good experience here and I would recommend it to those who want to live close to LLS.

Glo Review

Glo is a great place to live if you are new to LA and don’t have a car (or better if you do). It’s about 3 miles from school which is a short drive or a train ride away. The train station is about a 5-8 minute walk from the building and is a direct route. There’s also everything you need within walking distance (grocery store, restaurants, shopping mall, pharmacies). The units are fairly new with a lot of space. I don’t have any complaints!

Great location, fine apartment, fine amenities

This place gets the job done. Great walking distance to 7th metro and 7th and fig, and some nice restaurants in the area. The gym is a little on the shabby side and they're a little slow on some of the maintenance requests, but otherwise the unit is nice.

Glo Review

The apartments and amenities are nice and the apartment building is not as expensive as surrounding apartment buildings. The pool has a view of part of the skyline and the gym is large enough and never crowded. The building location is alright and but it still feels safe for DTLA. However, the management isn't the strongest.

Amenities and services could improve

Location: great; overall quality: good. Pool is nice and the common rooms are great too.
However, the negative things are: other apartment complexes have 24/7 concierge, this one doesn't; and the common rooms close at 10pm which is too early.
The gym is outdated and they don't have wipes to clean the equipment, they leave Windex and regular paper towels, really?!
Apartments have carpets and should have hardwood floors.

Close enough to walk downtown, but across the 110 bridge so it doesn't get as much traffic congestion
Access to DTLA is great, very close to Fig at 7th and other fun spots downtown. Apartment is on the border of DTLA and Westlake. Have seen a couple of cars, street parked on Garland, that have had their windows smashed in. Apartment is also very close to several houseless encampments. Despite its extremely close proximity to LLS, I choose to drive to campus because I do not feel safe walking as a woman, alone.
This is not a good neighborhood, but I am living here because it is close to school. There are homeless people everywhere, and I do not feel safe walking around. The upside is that there have been many bars and restaurants opening up in the area, so it's making it a bit nicer.
You need to know DTLA well, to know which parts are safe and which are not. This is a few blocks into the 'safe zone'. Don't go west from Bixel and east of hill street.
It is 5 mins walk away from downtown and the path is rather safe.
The neighborhood is not the greatest, but it's also not the worst. I feel safe walking to and from class, but would probably stay in groups around nighttime. I have gone out at night several times on my own with no issues, but I still wouldn't recommend it.
Neighborhood is essentially downtown LA one direction and Westlake the other. I do not venture into Westlake at all so it is hard for me to answer, whenever I walk anywhere it is toward downtown LA. I did walk to campus to begin the year but the walk in between the apartment and campus is a little sketchy, particularly when you get closer to Loyola.
Close to DTLA without the traffic. Close to the red line and major bus lines. not that many restaurants though in our area.
