Teak
Very close to campus, do not have to get on the highway. Very quiet except for the occasional dogs parking. Management can be difficult to contact, but work orders have been completed quickly. Overall a great complex close to campus and safe with a parking garage and other security features.

Great place close to campus!
I have liked living at The Teak for the past 1.5 years. I moved from a luxury building into The Teak for grad school to save cost. The building has been great- from the area, maintenance staff, and amenities. The one drawback is that it can get loud from undergraduate students and it is farther away from Greenville, Uptown, and Henderson than other complexes.

Great place close to campus
I’ve lived at the Teak for 6 months. The pool and gym are great and clean. The complex itself is not too loud. The location and proximity to campus is great and its a short drive to lower Greenville & Lakewood. There is trail access by the apartment so it’s a great place for runners or people with pets. Management is virtually nonexistent but I have not had any problems since living here. Maintenance is always completed within 24 hours.

The Teak is a great place to live!
The Teak is one of three complexes in The Branch’s neighborhood (also includes The Live Oak and The Ash, and a fourth, The Cedar, is under construction) at the end of Amesbury Drive. It’s a very safe area with an enclosed parking garage and a good amount of lighting at night. Overall, it’s a great environment to live in and residents have access to numerous amenities such as a pool, gym, courtyard patio, lounge, and dog wash. Since the complex is relatively new, the quality of the apartments is great - hardwood floors, granite countertops, high ceilings, and large windows, just to name a few. Also, the maintenance staff is very responsive and service requests are usually fulfilled within one day. The rent amount does not include electricity, water, or internet.
