On20 Apartments

Mostly enjoy it. Good location: walking distance from some restaurants, <10 min drive to campus, far from downtown so no noise on gamedays. Leasing office also open 7 days a week is a nice plus. Move-in was a very negative experience: the apartment was not cleaned at all (food in microwave, lint all throughout the dryer, and trash left in cabinets). I also had a non-working toilet upon move in which the staff responded that for the time being I should go to a gas station, instead of having a priority message to maintenance to fix. Also, I recently had a dryer break down and they don't have clear answers of when it will be fixed. Overall, there are some kinks but I mostly enjoy the living situation.

My floor plan is huge for a one bedroom. There is so much storage and I love the balcony and amenities. I like living near Butler Plaza where there are plenty of restaurants. I wish West 20 had a dog park.

Apartment itself is nice. It has new appliances, floors, and has been recently painted. The furniture provided is decent. The property has also been recently renovated including a new pickleball court and cross fit gym and updated pool area. The management is moderately helpful, but they can be unresponsive about billing requests. The additional fees of parking and utilities can add another $100-200 per month onto the quoted monthly rent. The location of the property is safe, and it is within five minutes of UF and Butler plaza.

I am a double gator at UF Law (1L) and I have lived at West 20 for 4 years and will be going on to my 5th year there. I love the location of it (it's about a 5-7 minute drive to the law school) and I love the fact that it's gated, has its own bus stop, has a washer and dryer in unit, and has plenty of parking.

One of the cleanest apartments I’ve ever moved into. Very spacious with lots of compartment spaces throughout the different rooms. Enormousss bathroom with countertop space (really helpful for the ladies with their makeup and perfumes). Relatively quiet for being close to campus (lots of undergrads but it didn’t bother me). The commute to school is legit about 10 minutes or less so you can wake up later for class. The negatives are just the price. It’s a lot for one person. But it’s worth it for your mental peace.
