Good apartment for the price
The apartment is in a super nice neighborhood, 2 blocks from purple line and 3 blocks from a 201 stop. About a 20-25 minute walk to campus, but not bad if you go through downtown. The apartment building only has 18 units, but the rooms are extremely spacious. The building is old but well kept. No air conditioning but can obtain window units. Utilities not included in the rent are wifi, cooking gas, and electric. Additionally, laundry facilities are in the building but require you to go outside to get to them. No elevator, 3 floors in building. Management seems to be responsive

Great apartment! ~25 min walk to the Hub, but it's pretty spacious and the rent is very reasonable. Very responsive maintenance staff, easy to work with management. Really enjoyed the 2 years here!

Small Rentals
1406 Elmwood is a very small rental unit - 720 square feet. However we have very low rent and are very close to downtown Evanston and 25 minute walk from school. Great price for a good location. It is also 1 block from the police station, so very safe. Street parking is available and very cheap for a year pass.
