The Lux - best location
It's less than a five minute walk to the law school, which is great. The units are modern, and the kitchen is spacious. Maintenance has been adequate. There's lots of other law students in the building. It is expensive for a 5-bedroom, though, and there isn't much light.

Great Location, atrocious management
- Wasn't able to send my rent because the site didn't work, still charged me overdue fees.
- Management office closes at 4pm, and isn't open weekends, so unless you skip class you can never see them.
- Unresponsive to work orders, we've sent multiple messages that have not been returned.
- Air conditioner just broke, and before that they locked us out of the continuous air con, so we can only air con for like 30 mins at a time, then have to manually reset.
- Sent contractors into our apartment when we weren't there, on a day we weren't expecting, to install heaters. Had keys to our rooms.

Convenient but loud
The apartment unit itself is nice and a spacious living area/kitchen. The lease is individual by room, so if you do not have enough roommates to fill a multi room unit, the complex will fill it for you.
The apartment is very close to sage hall, ($10 min walk) which is the best part of it.
However, given it is so close, it tends to be very undergraduate heavy and can be loud with parties depending on your neighbors.
Apartment comes with a steam room and sauna access which is nice. Also has a gym in house but it is very minimal.
Overall it is a fine place to live but if you are looking for something more quiet, may not be the place for you

For the price, it could be better.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great apartment. The location is CRIMINALLY good and it’s very nice. But for the amount I paid, the management could have been way better, and the gym kinda sucks.

Decent but expensive for value in collegetown
Recently constructed building in collegetown under new management
Management is responsive to maintenance issues, you can put in tickets and autopay rent online
Gym and lounge in basement are roomy and seldom used
Conveniently located in the middle of collegetown
Concrete floors, block walls, and ducts allow sound to travel fairly freely, so you can hear people talking or slamming doors a few floors up or down from your apartment
Well heated in the winter and cooled in the summer
Low electric bills
Furnished with Ikea furniture
Tiny bedrooms and large living room are ideal for parties but not for working from home
Loft bedrooms have windows open to below, but black netting is weird for guests
Nook under stairs has a washer/dryer combo unit that doesn't work great
No closets in the whole apartment

Loud parties
I like everything about this apartment/building but the only gripe I have and the reason I will be moving out next year is that it's located in a very noisy neighborhood. Expect loud greek life/undergraduate parties every weekend. There's a frat annex right in front of my window and when they throw parties it really feels like I'm at a club. I had to get ear plugs to sleep and even then, I can still hear them. If you don't mind loud parties, this place is great.

Title
Units are very nice minus needing multiple repairs upon move-in. Generally, I highly recommend this place but just know that you will need to take extra time to make sure things are in proper working order before you can get comfortable.
