Decent location + price
Not the nicest in the world (especially from the outside), but close to campus, comfortable, more affordable than most, I haven't experienced any pressing safety concerns.

Great Location but It's Not Worth The Issues
This is a very bare bones apartment. Not secure at all. All apartments are exposed (no gate). The walls aren't sturdy (they're thin panels) so you can't really hang anything up. The sunlight only hits the back bedroom and the rest of the place is very dark. Pool area isn't maintained. Parking is free but there's a huge pot hole at the entrance. The windows in the bedroom are flimsy and do not close all the way, so there's a strong draft in the room. There is no garbage disposal despite there being a full kitchen. The tub paint is peeling. The color of the apartment building is hideous (black and lime green). You get charged for AC usage based on square footage which is terrible if you save on AC usage but your neighbors don't. The stairs are uneven and it's very easy to trip and fall. The stairs also make it difficult to move in and out.
There are zero amenities except for the pool.
The leasing office isn't very helpful. Maintenance has not responded to my requests and it's been over a week now.
Closet space is great though. The natural light in the bedroom is beautiful.
