Great Apartment, Great Location
Experience has been great. The neighborhoods in the area also make for a pleasant walk no matter the time of day or even night. I have never felt unsafe at all.
There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, the rail station is a 3 minute walk, and the bus stations are just as close. The community dog park is fairly small but also nice with plenty of friendly dog owners. The gym is nice, not the biggest but has all you need for a good workout. There have never been any issues whatsoever with getting mail or packages and the neighbors haven't caused any ruckus or disturbance.
The only two detriments stopping me from putting a score of 10 is that the hot water seems to shut down once a month for maintenance, not sure why and it hasn't been an issue, just a mild inconvenience. The second thing is that if you are a student, it can take 20-30 minutes by bus just to get to UT campus and 15-20 by car.
For me, all the pros of the community far outweigh the two cons I listed so this place has been a great experience for me. Overall, I would recommend this place to students, international folk, and many others. You get to be close enough to the city to where it is not an inconvenience but far away enough to where the nightlife doesn't keep you up all night.
