Mixed Emotions but overall okay
I've had a lot of water issues since I lived there over the years. I also have more pests than others given where my unit is situated. Maintenance has high turn over and the office is typically closed and no one answers. Sometimes they're great and responsive and more times than not, they aren't. I renew typically because it's cheap, but the water issues have really ruined the apartment for me. We've also had an issue with parking and there isn't visitor parking anymore. Also had randoms come through and there was a theft issue a while back.

Good value close to campus and mass st
Value and location are great. Kitchen size is large. Second bedroom is a little too small to be a real bedroom but nice for an office/pet room. Appliances are not great, neither is flooring or windows. Not that well insulated. Huge porch.

Better than most apartments in lawrence. (Which isn't saying much)
Good location as it walkable to downtown and campus and right on the bus route.
Maintance could be better, requests to have things fixed are responded to quick but the actual mainatance work is pretty sub-par.

Size and Convenience
I lived at Village Square my entire time. You'll get the updates I didn't get since I never vacated. Quiet, lots of parking, nice pool, and the 36 is across the street. No glitz and glamour but I never once thought about moving. For what I paid, I had about 900 square feet. I think it was a great bargain. Just hope they installed the fiber internet.

I've stayed here for five years. Basic amenities, could br updated, but it does the job. If there's an issue, the management responds in one day. Bus (36) for campus is right across the street.
